Vaadhoo by Memo Paris, launched in 2019 and crafted by perfumer Aliénor Massenet, is an aromatic chypre floral that captures the essence of a vibrant coastal landscape. The fragrance opens with ginger and basil, creating a fresh spicy contrast before settling into a heart of cassis, geranium, immortelle, and jasmine. This is balanced by a woody base of vetiver, patchouli, and moss, which adds an earthy warmth to the composition.
Vaadhoo's aromatic notes are most pronounced in the first hour. Apply two sprays to ensure the spicy top notes have enough time to blend with the woody base, creating a harmonious balance throughout the day.
