The story behind the bottle.
Dhofar by Xerjoff, launched in 2009 and crafted by perfumer Jacques Flori, is an aromatic woody fragrance that captures the essence of a rugged yet serene landscape. The composition opens with a bright burst of citrus and green notes like pine and litsea cubeba, creating a fresh spicy atmosphere. As it develops, herbal and balsamic elements such as sage and lavender blend seamlessly into a rich blend of woods and resins, culminating in a warm amber base that feels both comforting and expansive.
Apply Dhofar to pulse points and let it develop for at least 15 minutes before going out. The green and citrus top notes are bright but short-lived; the real character emerges in the woody and amber heart, which lasts well into the evening.
