The story behind the bottle.
Agar+Myrrh by Michael Malul London, launched in 2022, is an Oriental Woody fragrance created by perfumer Ilias Ermenidis. The composition opens with cassis and mandarin orange, offering a bright contrast to the warmth of agarwood (oud) and myrrh that follows. These rich, smoky notes blend seamlessly into a heart of freesia and gurjan balsam, before settling on a base of labdanum, sandalwood, patchouli, and smoke. The result is a fragrance that evokes the deep, enveloping warmth of an ancient incense ritual.
Apply sparingly to allow the rich base notes to develop fully. The smoky top notes dissipate quickly, so aim for one or two well-placed sprays on pulse points to let the heart and base take center stage.
