The story behind the bottle.
Joie de Vie by Michael Malul London, launched in 2019 and created by Wessel-Jan Kos, is a vibrant floral scent that balances freshness with warmth. The fragrance opens with the bright zest of mandarin orange and the delicate sweetness of apple blossom before transitioning into a heart of lotus, magnolia, and jasmine — notes that evoke the soft, ethereal beauty of a flower garden. The base notes of violet, woody accords, musk, and subtle hints of aquatic freshness create a grounding warmth that keeps the composition from feeling overly sweet or light.
Apply Joie de Vie with two light spritzes — it blooms quickly on skin but retains its delicate balance. The fragrance is best suited for daytime wear when the citrus and floral notes can shine without overpowering. Avoid using it in extremely warm weather, as the top notes may fade too quickly.
