The story behind the bottle.
Legend by Montblanc, launched in 2011, is a fragrance designed to occupy the fresh masculine space with a calm, understated presence. Created by perfumers Celine Perdriel and Olivier Pescheux, it opens with fruity and aromatic notes like pineapple and lavender before settling into a woody base of sandalwood and oak moss. While often compared to Dior Sauvage for its fresh aromatic profile, Legend is generally described as calmer and less spicy, making it a more subdued yet equally compelling choice. It has also been noted by enthusiasts for its resemblance to Abercrombie & Fitch’s Fierce, effectively occupying a similar niche.
Apply one to two sprays for a balanced wear. The fruity top notes are bright but fleeting; the woody base carries it through the day, so layering is key if you want a longer-lasting scent.
