The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2016 by Moresque, Aurum is a Woody Aromatic fragrance created by perfumer Andrea (Thero) Casotti. This composition opens with the bright and rich saffron note, which captures the essence of the first rays of dawn. The heart of balsam fir, styrax, and myrrh adds a lush and sensual richness to the bouquet, while the base notes of patchouli, oud, and guaiac wood evoke a serene and refined ambiance reminiscent of the steady rhythm of waves at sunrise.
Aurum's base notes take time to bloom, so allow it to settle on your skin for at least an hour before reapplying. The saffron top note is fleeting but makes way for a warm and nuanced heart that carries the fragrance throughout the day.
