Seta by Moresque, launched in 2018 and crafted by perfumer Andrea (Thero) Casotti, is an Oriental fragrance that marries the warmth of spices with the depth of woods and powdery notes. The opening burst of citrus from bergamot and lemon contrasts sharply with saffron’s distinctive earthiness, creating a dynamic tension. As Seta settles into its heart, ylang-ylang introduces a floral softness that tempers the spicy elements before giving way to vanilla and amber in the base. This composition is neither overly sweet nor too austere, striking a balance between richness and restraint.
