The story behind the bottle.
Chyprissime by Mugler was launched in 2014 and crafted by perfumers Jean-Christophe Hérault and Olivier Polge. This unisex fragrance opens with a bright citrus freshness that cuts through the air, giving way to an earthy heart of patchouli and moss, which adds depth and complexity. The base notes introduce woody warmth and sweet spiciness, creating a composition that feels both fresh and grounded.
For best results, apply Chyprissime to pulse points for a lasting warmth. The citrus top notes are bright but short-lived; the patchouli and woody base notes will carry you through most of the day.

A teenage bottle of Joop, and a mentorJean-Christophe Hérault is a senior perfumer at IFF based in Paris, whose interest in fragrance began as a teenager after receiving a bottle of Joop! Homme. He later met legendary perfumer Pierre Bourdon, who agreed to mentor him into the craft.
