Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Fougere Furieuse by Mugler, launched in 2014 and crafted by perfumers Jean-Christophe Hérault and Olivier Polge, is a bold aromatic fougère. The fragrance opens with herbal notes and fern, followed by geranium and neroli, creating an initial freshness that transitions into a deeper, earthy heart of oakmoss and coumarin. This robust composition settles into a base of amber and rose, blending warmth with a touch of floral complexity. Fougere Furieuse is a fragrance that challenges the conventional — it's not just another fougère but a fierce interpretation of the genre.
Apply Fougere Furieuse in two light sprays to allow its herbal and mossy notes to unfold gradually. The fragrance blooms over time, so it's best experienced close to skin rather than from afar.
