The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2018, Fougère Platine by Tom Ford is a modern take on the classic fougère fragrance, crafted by perfumers Olivier Gillotin and Linda Song. This unisex scent opens with clary sage and lavender, bringing freshness and herbal notes that are balanced by the aromatic complexity of bergamot and basil. The heart introduces an intriguing mix of honey and olibanum, adding a touch of sweetness and warmth. The base notes of tobacco, Spanish labdanum, and cedar create a rich, woody finish that grounds the composition with earthy depth.
Apply Fougère Platine lightly to pulse points; its aromatic top notes are bright but fleeting. The warm amber and tobacco base will gradually emerge after about an hour, making it ideal for both daytime and evening wear.
