Beau De Jour Eau de Parfum by Tom Ford was launched in 2020 with a composition that balances aromatic freshness and earthy depth. Perfumer Antoine Maisondieu crafts a fougère scent that opens with lavender extract, rosemary, mint, and basil, creating a vibrant green and spicy top note. The heart of geranium adds a floral complexity before settling into a base of oakmoss, patchouli, and amber, grounding the fragrance in earthy warmth. This composition is neither loud nor understated, instead offering a dynamic interplay between freshness and depth.
Apply two sprays for a balanced experience. The aromatic top notes will last about an hour before giving way to the rich, mossy base. This fragrance reads better close to skin than from a distance, so layering is key.
