The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2022 and crafted by perfumer Sonia Constant, Noir Extreme Parfum by Tom Ford is a bold Oriental Vanilla fragrance that combines the warmth of leather with the richness of vanilla. The composition opens with a spicy aromatic blend of cardamom and ginger, followed by mandarin orange and neroli, creating an initial burst of freshness. As it settles, notes of kulfi, Bulgarian rose, and jasmine introduce a sweet and floral heart. The base is anchored by vanilla, leather, suede, amber, tonka bean, guaiac wood, and cedar, delivering a warm, powdery finish that exudes sophistication.
One or two sprays are enough to capture its essence. The spicy top notes dissipate quickly, but the base notes develop slowly over time, so it's best applied in the morning for sustained warmth throughout the day.
