The story behind the bottle.
Plum Japonais by Tom Ford, launched in 2013 and crafted by perfumer Yann Vasnier, is a rich blend of sweet and spicy notes. The fragrance opens with the warmth of cinnamon and saffron, leading to a heart of Japanese plum and plum blossom that infuses the air with a delicate fruity sweetness. Immortelle and liquor add depth, while agarwood (oud) and amber create a warm, enveloping base that lingers long after application.
One or two sprays is enough to capture the warmth and depth of Plum Japonais. The cinnamon opening is bright but fades quickly, giving way to the rich base notes that last for hours. Best suited for evenings or cooler weather when you want a scent that feels luxurious and intimate.
