Launched in 2019, Beau de Jour by Tom Ford is an aromatic fougère fragrance crafted by perfumer Antoine Maisondieu. The composition opens with a vibrant mix of lavender and mint, creating a fresh and spicy contrast. As it evolves, oakmoss and patchouli add depth, grounding the scent in earthy, mossy notes. This interplay between freshness and earthiness makes Beau de Jour a fragrance that seamlessly transitions from day to night.
One or two sprays are sufficient to capture the essence of this fragrance. The lavender and mint notes will fade within a couple of hours, but the woody base of oakmoss and patchouli ensures it remains present throughout the day. Ideal for daytime wear, where its fresh yet grounded character shines.
