The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2018 by Tom Ford and crafted by perfumers Linda Song and Olivier Gillotin, Fougère d’Argent is a sophisticated Oriental Fougère that balances the crispness of lavender with the warmth of oud. The composition opens with an aromatic blend of ginger and mandarin orange, creating a fresh spicy contrast before transitioning into a rich heart of akigalawood and labdanum. This fusion of woody and sweet accords culminates in a base of warm spices and vanilla, offering a nuanced depth that is both modern and lasting.
Fougère d’Argent has a strong opening but fades quickly on top notes. Apply one to two sprays to allow the rich base notes to develop fully over time. The scent is best experienced close to the skin rather than across a room, so focus your application on pulse points for maximum impact.
