The story behind the bottle.
Memoire D'homme, launched in 2002 by Nina Ricci and crafted by perfumers Christine Nagel and Rosendo Mateu, is a Woody Chypre fragrance that balances freshness with warmth. The composition opens with the bright zest of pomelo and grapefruit, infused with the spicy kick of ginger and nutmeg. As it settles, ambergris and musk create an enveloping base, while vetiver and atlas cedar lend earthy depth. This interplay between fresh citrus and warm woods embodies a sense of lasting elegance.
Apply one or two sprays to the pulse points. The citrus top notes are bright but quick to fade, making way for the deeper, warming base notes that carry the scent through the day. Best worn in cooler weather when the spiciness and woody undertones can be fully appreciated.
