Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Oud Wood by Orientica was launched in 2018, blending the rich depth of woody and spicy accords with unexpected notes like tobacco and leather. The fragrance opens with a bright citrus topnote from bergamot and lemon, which cuts through to reveal an earthy heart of sandalwood, cedar, and patchouli. This is where the composition really comes alive, as the warmth of tobacco and the animalic undertones create a complex, smoldering depth.
Oud Wood is best applied with a light touch; the citrus notes are fleeting, but the warm base lingers for hours. It's ideal for cooler evenings when you want something that reads as rich and enveloping close to skin.
