The Story

Launched in 2009 by Xerjoff, Oroville was crafted by perfumer Christian Rostain as an aromatic blend that seamlessly marries the freshness of citrus and green notes with the warmth of floral and tobacco accords. The fragrance opens with chamomile and orange, offering a bright and invigorating start, before transitioning into a heart of clary sage, carnation, and neroli. This middle section is balanced by the earthy presence of galbanum and tobacco, creating a rich blend that evolves throughout the day.

Application Tips

Apply Oroville lightly — the citrus opening is bright but quickly gives way to its more complex heart and base. It’s best for daytime wear as the aromatic notes complement the cooler hours without overpowering.
