The story behind the bottle.
Merina by Otz Lab, launched in 2026 and crafted by Caroline Dumur, is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance that captures the essence of a warm, inviting space. The composition opens with almond and white floral notes, creating a delicate yet rich aroma. As it settles into the heart, iris adds depth while fresh spicy and soft spicy accords bring a subtle warmth. A powdery finish rounds out the scent, leaving a lingering trail that feels both familiar and comforting.
Merina blooms gradually on the skin, so it's best to apply two sprays initially. The almond and white floral top notes are bright but short-lived, while the powdery base continues to develop over several hours. It pairs well with cooler weather when its warmth feels most comforting.
