Launched in 2023 by Pierre Montale for Montale, Oud Island is a sophisticated blend of citrus and woody notes that creates an intriguing tension between freshness and depth. The fragrance opens with Italian lemon and Sicilian bergamot, which are immediately contrasted by the rich warmth of oud and black leather. Solar notes and Indian tuberose add a sun-kissed quality to the composition, while vanilla, tobacco, labdanum, amber, and musk create an enveloping base that lingers on the skin.
