Paloma Picasso by Paloma Picasso was launched in 1984 and is a chypre floral fragrance created in close collaboration between the artist and perfumer Francis Bocris. This composition draws on her own favorite scents, infused with an animalic rose-oakmoss-civet structure characteristic of the bold power perfumes of the 1980s. The scent opens with bright citrus notes like bergamot and Amalfi lemon before transitioning into a heart of carnation, coriander, and hyacinth. It settles into a base of patchouli, oak moss, musk, and amber, creating a warm, earthy, and powdery finish.
