The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2013, Amber Oud by Nicolai Parfumeur Createur is an Oriental Woody fragrance created by Patricia de Nicolai. The composition opens with aromatic and herbal notes of lavender, sage, artemisia, and thyme, creating a fresh spicy effect that contrasts beautifully with the woody warmth of oud, atlas cedar, and patchouli. The heart introduces a touch of saffron and cinnamon before settling into a rich base of amber, musk, vanilla, tonka bean, and styrax, which adds an earthy depth to the scent.
Given its rich base notes, Amber Oud blooms gradually. A single generous spritz will allow the scent to develop fully over time. It pairs well with layering under a jacket or cardigan for added warmth and depth.
