Patricia de Nicolai's Crème Ébène by Nicolai Parfumeur Créateur is a complex and nuanced fragrance that weaves together the warmth of spices with the richness of woods and powdery vanilla. Launched in 2025, this unisex parfum opens with saffron and cardamom, creating an intense and spicy top note that cuts through the sweetness of dates and white flowers. The heart reveals a harmonious blend of Atlas cedar and sandalwood, grounded by patchouli and vanilla, which give way to a powdery, leathery base. This composition is both sophisticated and intimate, capturing the essence of a modern elegance.
This parfum has a long-lasting base, so one or two sprays on pulse points will allow it to develop fully. The spicy top notes are intense but fleeting, giving way to the rich heart and base notes over time. Best applied in cooler weather when the warmth of the composition is most appreciated.
