Apricot Privee by Phlur, launched in 2022 and crafted by perfumer Jérôme Epinette, is a composition that captures the essence of ripe apricots with a warm spicy twist. The fragrance opens with bright, juicy notes of apricot and plum, which are then balanced by cardamom and jasmine, creating an intriguing contrast between sweetness and warmth. As it evolves on the skin, the heart notes of peony and oud add depth and complexity, while the base notes of tonka bean, sandalwood, and labdanum provide a rich, powdery warmth that lingers throughout the day.
Apply this fragrance lightly at first — the apricot top notes are bright but fleeting. The heart and base notes develop gradually, so a few light sprays will ensure the warm spices and powdery woods shine through without overpowering.
