The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2019 by Ramon Monegal, Alhambra Oud is a fragrance that juxtaposes the warm, smoky richness of oud with bright fruity and fresh notes. The composition opens with apple and orange blossom, creating an immediate contrast to the deep, earthy undertones of agarwood. This interplay continues through the heart with jasmine and rose, before settling into a base of ambroxan and birch, which adds a subtle leather note, rounding out the scent's complexity.
Apply this fragrance in light layers; the fruity top notes are fleeting but impactful. The base notes will bloom gradually, so it's best to let them develop naturally throughout the day rather than layering heavily at once.
