The story behind the bottle.
Byzance Gold by Rochas, launched in 2022 and crafted by Michel Almairac, is a fragrance that marries the vibrant sweetness of litchi with the depth of patchouli and musk. The opening notes of litchi and black currant create an immediate burst of tropical and fruity freshness, while the heart of rose and jasmine adds a layer of floral warmth. As it settles into its woody base, the scent reveals a rich blend of cedar and tonka bean, creating a harmonious blend that is both inviting and sophisticated.
One to two sprays are sufficient as the tropical top notes fade within an hour but leave behind a lingering musky and woody base. This fragrance is best suited for evening wear when its warmth can fully envelop you.
