Desir Pour Homme by Rochas, launched in 2007 and crafted by the house of Quest, is an Oriental Woody fragrance that balances bright citrus with rich woody warmth. The composition opens with a burst of grapefruit and bitter orange, which cuts through the sweetness before giving way to cardamom and cacao. This transition leads into a base of vanilla, cashmere wood, and cedar, creating a scent that is both crisp and enveloping.
Apply two sprays to your pulse points. The citrus top notes are bright but fleeting, so it’s best not to layer too heavily in the beginning. As the cardamom and cacao emerge after about an hour, the fragrance blooms into a rich, warm embrace that suits both daytime and evening wear.
