Launched in 1984, Lumiere Original by Rochas is a fragrance that captures the essence of modern elegance and sophistication. Created by Nicolas Mamounas, this Oriental scent blends white floral and green accords with woody and aldehydic notes to create a harmonious balance between freshness and warmth. The composition opens with aldehydes and violet, giving way to orange blossom and green leaves, before settling into a rich base of tuberose, jasmine, sandalwood, and musk. This fragrance is a proof of Rochas’s enduring legacy of combining classic elegance with contemporary flair.
Apply Lumiere Original sparingly — its aldehydic top notes are bright but fade quickly. The powdery and woody base notes will continue to develop for hours, making it ideal for daytime wear or a light touch in the evening.
