Launched in 2001 by Santa Maria Novella, Ginestra (Broom) is a harmonious and fresh chypre floral fragrance for women. The composition centers around the vivid scent of Dyer’s Greenweed, which opens with a burst of yellow floral freshness. This top note gives way to a heart that includes narcissus, violet, African orange flower, and orchid, each contributing layers of sweetness and earthiness. The base notes of oak moss, birch, and resin add depth and warmth, grounding the composition in rich, woody tones.
Apply one to two sprays lightly — the greenweed top note is bright but fleeting. The base notes of oak moss and birch develop slowly, so it's best experienced close to skin rather than from a distance. Ideal for early evening or cooler days when you want a fresh yet grounding scent.
