Launched in 2018 by Maison Crivelli and crafted by perfumer Richard Ibanez, Santal Volcanique is a composition that juxtaposes the bright freshness of citrus with the rich warmth of woody and spicy accords. The opening notes of bergamot and lemon create an immediate sense of clarity and brightness before giving way to the heart of cardamom and cinnamon, which adds depth and complexity. As it develops, Santal Volcanique reveals a musky base that anchors the fragrance with a grounding warmth, reminiscent of volcanic earth.
