Isaac Sinclair

Isaac Sinclair is a perfumer born in New Zealand who grew up surrounded by the scent of forest and leaves. He met fragrance expert Michael Edwards in Auckland in 1999 and began training as a perfumer at Dragoco (now Symrise) in Paris in 2001, becoming an assistant to Maurice Roucel in 2004. Alongside perfumery, he produces a small-batch gin with friends, approaching its recipes almost like fragrance formulas, and performs as a guitarist and singer, drawing parallels between music and scent. After thirteen years based in São Paulo, and having joined Symrise's creation center in Brazil in 2019, he is now moving to Paris.
