Launched in 2021, Cheirosa '40 by Sol de Janeiro is a Floral Fruity Gourmand fragrance that quickly became one of TikTok's most-discussed scents. Part of the brand’s fragrance mist line, it went viral on the platform and helped turn Sol de Janeiro into a household name among fragrance enthusiasts. The scent itself is inspired by the era of Rio de Janeiro carnival in 1840, capturing the warmth and vibrancy of that time with notes of plum, black amber, cassis, orchid, jasmine, vanilla, woods, and musk.
Apply one to two sprays for a balanced experience. The fruity top notes are bright but fleeting, giving way to a warm vanilla and musky base that lasts through the day. It reads best close to skin, so avoid over-spritzing in open spaces.
