The story behind the bottle.
Hexensalbe by Stora Skuggan was launched in 2023, a creation from the perfumer Anna Barkne. This unisex fragrance is a harmonious blend of aromatic spices and woody notes that evoke an enigmatic and mystical atmosphere. The opening with licorice and wormwood creates a fresh spicy character, while angelica and rosemary add depth and complexity. As it evolves, tuberose and patchouli bring a balsamic warmth, grounded by the earthy tones of oakmoss and black hemlock.
Apply this fragrance with two sprays to capture the full evolution from its fresh spicy opening to its warm balsamic heart. The patchouli and oakmoss notes develop slowly over time, so it’s best enjoyed close to the skin rather than in a wide sillage.
