L’Air du Désert Marocain Noir by Tauer Perfumes is a Leather fragrance for women and men that Andy Tauer launched in 2025. This composition opens with the bright, zesty notes of lemon and bergamot, which quickly give way to earthy spices and petitgrain, creating an immediate sense of warmth and depth. The heart of jasmine and labdanum adds a touch of floral richness before settling into a base of patchouli, leather, ambergris, oak moss, vetiver, and cedarwood. This combination evokes the rugged beauty of Morocco’s desert landscape — a place where the earthy aromas of the land mix with the animalic warmth of leather and balsamic woods.
This fragrance has a strong base that builds slowly on skin. Apply two sprays for a balanced presence throughout the day — it works best close to the skin rather than filling the room. The earthy and spicy notes are most prominent in cooler weather.
