Vanilla by The Body Shop, created by perfumer Marie Duchêne in 2012, is a unisex fragrance that celebrates the warmth and comfort of vanilla. Opening with a powdery sweetness, it gradually evolves into a rich balsamic accord, complemented by subtle spicy notes. This composition captures the essence of something familiar yet deeply comforting, much like the aroma of freshly baked goods.
Apply one or two sprays to your pulse points — the fragrance’s powdery notes will create an immediate warmth, while the balsamic and spicy elements develop gradually over time. It pairs well with cooler weather but can be enjoyed year-round for its comforting aroma.

Nurturing the olfactory memoryMarie Duchêne knew from childhood that she wanted to be a perfumer. Born in 1973 and raised in the Reims region of France, she studied chemistry before entering ISIPCA in Versailles in 1994, then apprenticed with perfume houses in Grasse.
