Launched in 2022, Amphorae 17 by Xerjoff is a fragrance that marries the warmth of amber and incense with the earthy richness of Australian sandalwood and myrrh. The composition opens with the fresh greenness of violet leaves before transitioning into a heart of davana and benzoin, adding layers of spiciness and sweetness. The base notes of musk, vanilla, and tonka bean create an enveloping warmth that is both powdery and balsamic.
Amphorae 17 unfolds gradually, so a single spritz is enough to capture its full essence. It's best applied in the evening or for cooler hours when the warmth of its base notes can fully envelop you.
