Malesia by Xerjoff is a composition that balances the warmth of oriental notes with the depth of woody accords. Perfumer Chris Maurice crafts this unisex fragrance around a heart of amber and gurjan balsam, which create a rich, enveloping atmosphere. The top note of lily-of-the-valley adds a fresh, floral brightness before giving way to Laotian oud and vanilla in the base notes. This blend results in a scent that is both luxurious and grounded, with an animalic twist that lends it an air of mystery.
Apply Malesia in light layers for optimal effect — it blooms slowly but surely. The animalic notes can be intense up close, so allow time for the fragrance to settle before stepping out.
