Launched in 2024 by Zaharoff, Basileus Precious Treasure is a composition designed to balance the unexpected freshness of Sichuan pepper with a rich, warm base of amber and sandalwood. Perfumer Claude Dir crafts an accord that oscillates between spicy vibrancy and woody depth, creating a scent that feels both modern and lasting. The top notes of Sichuan pepper and cardamom spark immediate attention, while the heart of freesia and star jasmine adds a delicate floral touch. The base notes of ebony, musk, and vanilla ground the fragrance with a luxurious warmth.
Apply Basileus Precious Treasure with three sprays to ensure the spicy top notes are balanced by the warm base. The scent develops gradually over an hour, so it's best used in cooler settings where its warmth can be fully appreciated.
