Launched in 2011 by Zara, Black Peony is a fragrance that encapsulates the perfect balance between freshness and warmth. The composition opens with bergamot, bringing an invigorating zest to the forefront before transitioning into peach and freesia, which add a soft, floral sweetness. As it settles, vanilla and sandalwood provide a rich, comforting base that feels both luxurious and intimate.
One or two sprays on pulse points are sufficient — the bergamot top note is bright but fleeting. The warm base notes will bloom over time, making it ideal for both daytime and evening wear.
