The story behind the bottle.
Deep Blue Sea by Zara, launched in 2019, offers an evocative blend of marine and woody accords that capture the essence of a vast oceanic expanse. The fragrance opens with a bright burst of bergamot, which quickly gives way to sea notes, creating an immediate sense of freshness and openness. This aquatic heart is then anchored by cedar, adding warmth and depth that make it feel both grounded and expansive.
One or two sprays is sufficient — the marine notes are prominent initially but the cedar base emerges steadily over time. This fragrance works best during cooler hours when its fresh-spicy and salty accords can shine without becoming too overwhelming.
