Nocturnal Velvet by Zara, launched in 2024 and crafted by perfumer Jérôme Epinette, is a fragrance that weaves together the sweetness of ripe fruits with the warmth of musky florals. The composition opens with the bright freshness of strawberry and raspberry, punctuated by the spicy notes of pink pepper. As it settles, peony and plum lend an air of sophistication to the heart, while gardenia and jasmine add a lush floral depth. The base notes of musk and ambroxan create a warm and enveloping finish that feels like a gentle embrace.
Apply Nocturnal Velvet to pulse points for a gradual build-up. The fruity top notes are fleeting but vibrant, while the base notes develop slowly and last throughout the evening. For optimal longevity, layer it with a moisturizer or wear it close to skin.
