The story behind the bottle.
Sel de Pamplemousse by Zara was launched in 2020 as a Woody Aromatic fragrance for women. The composition opens with the zesty freshness of grapefruit, which immediately captures attention and sets a vibrant tone. This citrus note is then tempered by the subtle spiciness of pink pepper, adding depth and complexity without overpowering the initial burst of fruit. As the scent settles into its base note of vetiver, it takes on a grounding, earthy quality that creates a balanced harmony between freshness and warmth.
Apply this fragrance lightly to avoid overwhelming its delicate balance. The citrus top note fades within an hour, so a second application might be needed to maintain the vibrancy throughout the day. Vetiver’s grounding presence means it pairs well with cooler weather but can still feel refreshing in warmer conditions.
