Cedarwood and Bergamot by Aaron Terence Hughes, launched in 2019, is a composition that balances the fresh zing of bergamot with the earthy warmth of cedar. The scent opens with mandarin orange and Sicilian lemon, creating an immediate brightness that cuts through the richness of jasmine sambac and vetiver in the heart. As it settles, amber and white floral notes add depth without overpowering the woody base, resulting in a fragrance that feels both crisp and enveloping.
Apply two sprays for the best effect — the citrus opening fades within an hour, but the cedarwood base continues to develop on skin. This scent reads better in cooler weather when the woody notes can shine without being overpowered by warmer air.
