The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2023, Neon by Aaron Terence Hughes is a vibrant unisex fragrance that marries the freshness of citrus with warm, enveloping musk and amber notes. The opening burst of lime, bergamot, and grapefruit cuts through with a crisp energy, before giving way to ambroxan and pineapple, which add an unexpected sweetness. The base layers of sandalwood, patchouli, and vetiver ground the composition with earthy warmth, creating a dynamic tension between freshness and depth.
Apply Neon with one or two sprays — the citrus top notes are bright and immediate, while the musky base unfolds gradually over time. It’s best for daytime wear when you want a scent that starts fresh and evolves into something warmer as the day progresses.
