Launched in 2023, Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Arancia La Spugnatura is a fragrance that captures the essence of Italian coastal elegance. Created by François Demachy, it opens with the vibrant freshness of Sicilian orange, mandarin, and lemon, which cut through the richness of bitter almond and black pepper to create an unexpected tension. The base notes of cedar and musk ground this composition in earthy warmth, making it a balanced blend of zesty brightness and woody depth.
This fragrance blooms best when applied lightly to pulse points. The citrus notes are bright but fleeting, so the key is allowing the woody base to emerge gradually. It’s ideal for daytime wear, especially during cooler afternoons.
