The story behind the bottle.
Orange Sanguine by Atelier Cologne was launched in 2011, crafted by perfumer Ralf Schwieger. This fragrance opens with the vibrant brightness of blood orange and bitter orange, creating a dynamic contrast against the warm spiciness of Madagascar pepper and African geranium. The heart blossoms into Egyptian jasmine before settling into a woody base of sandalwood, amber, tonka bean, and Texas cedar. This composition is not just a scent but an experience of contrasts — sharp and sweet, fresh and spicy.
Orange Sanguine projects well due to its citrus and spicy top notes. Apply one or two sprays in the morning for a scent that evolves throughout the day, starting bright and ending with rich woodiness.
