The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2008 by Acqua di Parma and created by perfumer François Demachy, Profumo 2008 is a Woody Chypre fragrance that embodies the brand’s legacy of Italian elegance. The composition opens with bright bergamot and ylang-ylang before transitioning into a heart of jasmine and peony, which adds warmth and depth. The base notes of sandalwood, vetiver, oakmoss, and musk create an earthy, mossy foundation that evokes the lasting sophistication of Acqua di Parma’s heritage.
Two sprays on pulse points will allow the fragrance to develop fully. The base notes bloom after an hour, so it's best applied before stepping out for the evening. Avoid layering with other scents as this composition is designed to stand alone.
