The story behind the bottle.
Ouranon by Aesop was launched in 2023 and is crafted by perfumer Barnabé Fillion. This Oriental Woody fragrance for unisex wear opens with a fresh spicy note of elemi, followed by the herbal and green nuances of lavender and petitgrain. The heart unfolds with hay and chamomile, adding an earthy warmth that transitions into the balsamic richness of myrrh and patchouli. Frankincense brings a touch of incense-like depth to the base, where tonka bean adds a sweet and woody finish. Ouranon captures the essence of Aesop’s Australian heritage with its blend of crisp freshness and warm earthiness.
Apply a light spritz to your wrists and neck — the elemi and lavender top notes are bright but fleeting. The heart and base notes will develop over time, so allow it to settle on your skin for at least an hour before heading out.
