The story behind the bottle.
Lillipur, launched in 2013 and crafted by Paolo Terenzi for Tiziana Terenzi, is a complex Oriental Woody fragrance that weaves together fresh and warm spices with woody and floral notes. The composition opens with the bright zest of lemon and star anise, contrasted by the earthy depth of wormwood and olibanum. As it evolves, cinnamon and Sichuan pepper add warmth, while thyme and galbanum bring a green freshness. The heart introduces carnation and cyclamen, softening the spicy intensity with floral sweetness. The base notes of cashmere wood, amber, benzoin, tonka bean, atlas cedar, tobacco, birch, patchouli, and white musk create a rich, enveloping warmth that lingers on the skin.
Apply Lillipur in layers for the best effect — start with one spritz to capture its initial freshness, then add another after an hour as it transitions into its warmer base notes. The fragrance develops subtly over time, so avoid heavy application to let each layer unfold naturally.
