The story behind the bottle.
Amouage's Amber Sogara, created by perfumer Elise Benat in 2023, is a Floral Aldehyde composition that reimagines the classic accord for modern sensibilities. The fragrance opens with a crystal twinkle of aldehydes, which uplifts the rich silkiness of Rose Centifolia blooms and merges seamlessly into the diaphanous muskiness of Ambrette. This interplay of light and depth creates a canticle that echoes in the historic halls of Al Sogara, blending traditional Omani perfumery with contemporary elegance.
One or two sprays are sufficient — the aldehydic top notes shine bright but fade within a couple of hours. The rose and ambrette base notes emerge more prominently as the day progresses, making it ideal for daytime wear that evolves subtly over time.
